Election Results Database
The Precinct Results Databases were created by the Michigan Bureau of Elections, Department of State. They were used to certify and distribute the official results of each election. They were transferred to the Archives of Michigan for permanent preservation. The Archives (in collaboration with the San Diego Supercomputer Center) converted the data from its original format into this search engine for public access. Currently, data for 1992 - 2004 is available online.
Users may find the term "statistical adjustment" next to a vote count in their search results. A statistical adjustment occurs when the "Certified County Canvass Report" claims a different amount of votes were cast than the amount that is found in the actual precinct results (higher or lower).
